Linda has had the good fortune of being able to play and record with many talented musicians in the Northwest, as well as the Hawaiian Islands.
Some of her friends include Grammy Winner Charles Brotman and Grammy Nominee Sonny Lim, both from the Big Island of Hawaii.
Other musician friends include Sam Kama, Kevin Kealoha and Bonnie Mitchell, also of Hawaii.
Back home Linda often performs with many of her students from her Montessori School in Oregon, also known as the Lemon Droplets.
On occasion she has been honored to have several of her favorite local musicians record with her such as Joe Dobroe, Tony Holly and Randy McCoy.

Sounds Like
Sounds perhaps a little like Elizabeth Mitchell, Jonatha Brooks and (so I've been told,) Joan Baez.
Linda Yapp has delighted children and adults alike with her songs and storytelling for over twenty five years.
As a children's musician and songwriter, Linda creates and shares music that reflects the values she holds near and dear to her heart; songs of peace, kindness, diversity, respect for all living things including songs about honoring & protecting the many critters of the world.
Trained as a Montessori Teacher, Linda founded the Nye Beach Montessori School in Newport, Oregon back in 1982, which continues to be a thriving educational center in the Newport community. Over the years she has taught nearly a thousand young children in the classroom, incorporating her music and songs in the students' daily activities. The children are a constant inspiration for her songwriting. Many of the students sing on her CDs.
Living in Otter Rock, Oregon with her family, she is surrounded by forest, windblown ocean and wildlife. She often travels to her favorite islands of Hawaii, the Gulf Coast of Florida, and the remote whale birthing lagoons of Baja where the beauty and serenity of the landscapes, people and marine life inspire her song writing.
Linda performs throughout the Pacific Northwest and Hawaii in schools, stores, libraries, fairs and festivals.
