What's Lindele?
Formed in 2004 by a group of high school students at Bangkok Christian College, Ben, Pong, Pom, Zoom and Tum, the band covered songs by popular artists at school shows and Christmas parties. "Cor" was the band's name then.
After playing covers for 2 years, the band decided to make their own music in 2006 and changed the name to "Lindele", pronounced as 'Lin-day-lay'. They recorded their first 4 songs "Pak"(Rest), "Floating", "Mai-sum-kan"(Unimportant), and "I'll Be Waiting" and made a debut on MySpace in October 2006.
In the beginning of 2007, they had made some new demos before the band broke up due to the university admission period, "Yaa-Pare-Fon"(Don't Lose To Rain), "Disconnected", "More Than A Saviour", "Chan-Pid"(I'm Wrong), and "Kwam-Tong-Karn"(Need)
Unfortunately in mid 2007, the drummer decided to left the band due to personal reason. The band's MySpace was taken down for a while. Not long after that, the position was replaced by Bunch, Ben and Pong's friend from Bangkok Christian College and a former Ro-Flat drummer, Pom also rejoined as a keyboardist.
Ben also wrote a song "Cursed", for the play "Perd-(Kra)-Pong-Convent" by the Faculty of Communication Arts, Chulalongkorn University, in August 2007.
In the end of September 2007, the band released a new song "A Waste Of Time" with the new MySpace page.
Summer 2008, "Dear Loser" was featured in DDT Magazine, 40th issue. Tum then rejoined, so the band rearranged and recorded "Dear Loser", "Yaa-Pare-Fon" (Don't Lose To Rain) and "Pleng-Nee-Mai-Kiew-Kub-Karm-Ruk" (Not A Love Song) which get the band chosen for an audition of the "5th Kodindy Concert" in August.
