I'm originally from Dickinson, ND. I graduated from DHS in 2000. Then I moved to Spearfish, SD and attended BHSU. I graduated in 2004 with a degree in Mass Communications with an English minor. Now I edit video for a TV production company. (Check the Telly Awards blog . . I'm actually an award winning video editor). I do commercials, web videos, TV shows, etc. I've also done one full length hunting DVD called "Lettin' Loose: A Season With A Longbow." with Doug Schlabaugh (http://www.lettinloose.com). I also wait tables and tend bar at the Stadium in Spearfish, since the video editing industry isn't exactly booming in the Black Hills of South Dakota.
I also made a half-way live music video for the band After Autumn . . a long time ago . . . (seen below this "About Me" section)
To any of you who knew me in high school, this next part will be strange (because running for any reason was the bane of my existence). Since I graduated from college, I've started running 10Ks on a pretty regular basis. My first half-marathon was August 2008. . I ran it in 2:09:56 . . not a stellar time, but having never run a half-marathon before I didn't know what pace to start with. I ran the same race in 1:52:37 in 2009. Getting better!
I just married the man of my dreams, Shane Miller, a guitarist in the aforementioned hard rock/metal band After Autumn. Friday, July 27, 2007. Their band is doing well and will hopefully be finishing their album soon. I'm so proud of him!
This is a big year for us at Sturgis Bike Rally. so take "Pride in your Hide". No appointments are necessary. All artist use 100% new sterile individually packaged instruments that are autoclave sterilized and only used once then thrown away. New inks etc. per customer.
