I was raised in the Sierra Nevadas. I lived for five years in New England (feels crazy to say "LIVED"). I recently moved to Portland to be closer to the mountains and my family - so my heart is all over the place. I was raised on piano, then violin, then guitar, then banjo, and some singing. Right now I'm trying to do it all, and figure out how to live in many places. Hmm.

Thanks! I love your sound too. I really dug your performance at the Whitehaus. Who knew banjo and flute would sound so amazing together? Nice job. Have a great show tonight! (Give Elizabeth and J+J hugs for me!)
Happy Birthday old gal. I hope you are somewhere near the blooming lilacs. They mean birthdays on Willow Valley. Are you eating a cake frosted with, er, "Dying Elephants?" God we were weird kids. "Isn't it weird, isn't it strange? Even thought we're just strangers on this runaway train..."
your songs sound soo good! im so happy i stumbled upon you in my daily stalking practice. Your voice is perfect. So glad you've been sticking with it all. Impressed times 200.
Hi, Lindsay. Just dropped by for a visit and to hear what you've put up recently. I was delighted to find "Railroad Boy," since I've only ever heard one other person sing it (Joan Baez) and it was good to hear another version, for the comparison. But the real gem of my visit was "Seaglass and Shells" ... so sparse, and your voice lilting like an ache ... I was spellbound all through it. Thanks for the wonderful music!
