★ NEW! I'm pretending to be an artist or something! Since I'm only pretending to be a real artist, I call the stuff I make 'phlizz' (a Lewis Carroll word). It looks like art, but it might be nothing but air! Anyway, check out my new portfolio I'm building at only-a-phlizz.deviantart.com.
#1: NEPHEWS!;
Coffee (real coffee. micro roasted and made right. served within 2 weeks of being roasted. not that chain crap. that's not coffee.);
Lattes (real lattes. made with real coffee (see above) when the shots are pulled with perfect timing and the crema is nice and thick and a little sweet, and the milk is steamed to have just the right amount of microfoam (that means the bubbles are so small you can't see them) to pour a pretty little design - oh! and it's only 8oz or less. None of this giant crap so full of milk and syrup that you forget it was ever meant to be coffee);
Tea (the British way: black tea, with milk & sugar);
Photography;
Cinnamon-y things;
Croissants;
Chocolate chip cookies that are more chip than cookie;
Cool glass of 2% organic milk;
Warm fresh bread;
Knowing how to weld, even though I never do anymore;
Curling up on a sofa with a hot drink of some kind and a book, movie or fave t.v. show;
Researching obscure and occult topics;
Buying new books (see above);
Oliver & Pippin (cats named after literature – nothing to do with musicals);
Throwing paper airplanes over Pippin’s head and watching her leap 3 feet in the air to catch them;
Watching the 20 pound Oliver run after Pippin (Fat cat running! Fat cat running!);
Watching Pippin's tail triple in size when she's startled;
Scotch on the rocks;
U.K. beer like Guiness and Newcastle;
Gin with grenadine and orange juice (real o.j. no concentrate allowed!);
My perfect Irish coffee made with French pressed Vashon Island Coffee Co.’s Espresso Velutto, brown sugar and organic cream – though I’ve always had to cheap out on the whisky and get Bushmills;
Blending my own herbal "teas" (the only way I will drink the abominations);
Hot cocoa made the right way: nothing but milk, cocoa and sugar (okay, I’d use vanilla too if I ever had any);
The British and anything that is British;
Magnolias and lilacs;
Making up words;
Putting myself on an evolutionary path to ascension;
Pouring good latte art;
Brand new hair cuts & freshly dyed hair;
Learning how to do HTML with absolutely no prior knowledge and only google searches to help me;
Knowing how one-year-olds think;
Buying the perfect gifts for people in those times when I actually have money with which to buy things;
The look on someone’s face when they learn for the first time that, when coffee is made right, it actually DOES taste as good as it smells – without sugar;
People who read all this and see that I’m a totally awesome gal (but don’t “friend” me if I don’t know you. I don’t take candy from strangers.)
And many many others, depending on my mood, with lost of random songs by random artists. But I don't listen to radio, so I know nothing of what's popular
The Lord of the Rings Trilogy (it is all one story, after all);
Monty Python and the Holy Grail;
Lost in Translation;
Millions;
A Dog's Breakfast;
The 10th Kingdom;
Harry Potter (can I say all as one? I think Chamber of Secrets is my favourite, but I need to see Phoenix again);
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind;
The Princess Bride;
Titus;
But this list leaves out too many that are right up there. So see this vox post for an exhaustive Top 100 list!

..Then there's the best in news and "news"..!
~Countdown with Keith Olbermann;
~The Rachel Maddow Show;
~The Daily Show;
~The Colbert Report
..And remember these?..:
~Garfield & Friends; ~Animaniacs; ~Tale Spin; ~Ducktales; ~Chip ‘n’ Dale; ~Gummi Bears; ~You Can’t Do That on Television; ~Pee Wee’s Playhouse; ~Punky Brewster; ~Clarissa Explains it All; ~The Adventures of Pete and Pete
And can I throw Homestar Runner in here? It's not t.v. but on a scale of 1 to awesome, it is super great!
