A video Montage of our performance at The Bitter End in NYC!!!!
Since her debut onto the San Francisco Bay Area music scene 1 year ago, Lindsay Erin has gained the attention of some of the best musicians in the business. Still developing her sound, singer-songwriter Lindsay Erin's unique voice is both strong and textured with a touch of blues and a measure of jazz with lyrics that are both personal and universal, and melodies that are at once complex and approachable. For the past three years Lindsay has been studying Indian classical vocals with the world-renowned musician, Maestro Ali Akbar Khan. Recently she was recruited to sing first soprano with The Oakland Bay Area Community Choir (OBACC), which is led by Bill “The Jazz Professor” Bell and performs African Spirituals around the Bay Area. From a very young age she devoted her time to studying vocals, dance and theatre. Showing enormous potential in all three areas of performance, she was noticed by a casting director from American Zoetrope and was cast in her first film role as Sara in Sofia Coppola's short film entitled "Lick the Star" which premiered on the IFC Channel. She later attended The Boston Conservatory after graduating from Redwood High School. Though still fresh on the singer/songwriter circuit, Lindsay Erin is truly becoming a performer to reach the masses.
Thank you Lindsay for playing such a great set! It was a pleasure having you in. It wasn't the normal night at our place but I hope it was worth while. I heard very nice things about your set! -Cheers, B.K., Mocha Maya's Coffee House & Music Venue
