Lindsay Erin is up and coming!! Her early vocal training was focused on musical theatre and opera, and early dance training included ballet, modern, jazz and tap. Two years ago, however, she stumbled upon the beauty of classical Indian music and Odissi Indian dance and her life changed forever, for the better. For the past two years, she has been studying Northern Indian classical vocals at the Ali Akbar College of Music with Maestro Ali Akbar Khan himself. At the same time that she started classes at the college, she began learning Odissi, a sacred temple dance of India, with Sri Vishnu Tathva Das. Using her recent, as well as past music, theatre and dance training to inspire new compositions, Lindsay Erin has been writing and recording music with her future husband/engineer/percussionist, Paul Ezekiel, at his recording studio in San Anselmo (www.kbtstudios.com). She also sings backup on occasion for Stephanie Keys, an incredible talent who just came off touring with 420 Funk Mob and George Clinton and has an album out that totally rocks(www.myspace.com/stefaniekeys)!! It's coming along, working on how best to put it together. I have the song down, it's really short, so I think I'll have to figure out the variations and stuff... I think it'll sound best with a violin b/c it's really empty with just me and my brother... if that's ok...
No Worries!!!! hopeing it hadn't gotten lost! Love hearing from you!! I wish I could have been there too but my surgery was 5 days before it and I couldn't travel!! Oh my God! Jen and I were just talking about that video!!! I still haven't seen it... Good times! Lol. I was just in Marin, but it was a very short trip. I am hoping to come out later in the summer. We should get together and have a viewing of our video. :-) ~Kyra

Hi Lindsay..... well i've just re-read the promo material up there and it says expect a debut album release by the end of January.... how its going...although much better its late than rushed.... so...any update...??
