Independent Artist/Musician, Lindsay Ferguson released her first ever full-length album "SOUND" in September 2007 setting a record breaking attendance CD Release Party at The Black Sheep Inn in Wakefield Quebec. Lindsay's album, (recorded by producer great, Mr. Dave Draves of Little Bullhorn Productions Ottawa Ontario) has been critically acclaimed as Canada's 2nd Best album of 2007 (only after Feists "Reminder") by the Ottawa Citizen, on of Canada's leading newspapers. Lindsay got her start singing at the young age of two while being interviewed by her radio journalist Father. Now, nearly three decades later, Lindsay has been honing her voice & song-writing by researching life tales through living & singing in various places; Bermuda, Ontario, Newfoundland, Ireland, Peru, Quebec, California, Switzerland and now Toronto. One of her favourite road stories was when she was in Ireland and she knocked on the hotel bedroom door of Bono (U2) and asked him if he'd take a listen to her music...he said yes, and a new inspiration was born!! Or take the time she shared the stage in Bern, Switzerland with Canada's "Whiskey Drinking Accordian Playing Rabbi" Mr. Geoff Berner, or the time she was heckled during a show in California by My Emilio Estevez himself!! Life has been a continuous journey of strength, defeat, art, pain & Love, there truly is something for everyone when seeing one of Lindsay's performances. Toronto's "Now Magazine" says that she has nailed the singer/song-writer thing, Ottawa's BLuesfest says she is wild & wonderful, The Metro News says that Lindsay was born to sing & write. The Ottawa Folk Fest Director say's she's got it all, The Newfoundland Herald says that she inspires with a srikingly original new voice. Currently Lindsay is getting some regular airplay on a handful of Top 40 Radio as well at Canada's best station, CBC. Listen for "8th Wonder, 1000 Kisses & My Alibi." Download her album "sound" from I-tunes & soon from her website, check out on of her live shows... she is NOT to be missed!
