I don't know who I sound like... hopefully like me. Possibly colored with a little bit of Jewel and Joni.
Lindsay studied the piano for eight years, and trained as a coloratura for five. She picked up the guitar in 2000 and has been honing her skills as a singer-songwriter ever since. She performs original music as well as covers, and enjoys collaborating with other local musicians whenever the opportunity presents itself.
Recently, Lindsay has been seen frequenting local open mics and small venues in Philly and the surrounding areas. This past spring, she performed at a local music festival, enjoying the honor of sharing the stage with her siblings in singer-songwriting, Arcati Crisis, along with such notable local acts as Bevin Caulfield, Old Man Cactus, Enter The Rooms, Irene Molloy, and Just Like Me.
Lindsay is also the founder and Executive Director of Lyndzapalooza, a local organization that celebrates diverse music, creative community, and equal opportunity expression. Check out the organization's myspace page here.
Come on over to Mainstream some time. Although it's just a big homemade hotchpotch, there's an anti-war song and an anti-car song hiding among the love.
I'm glad I got to see you last night at Intermezzo. I had a great time seeing you & some musicians I knew, plus meeting a few new ones (new to me, anyway).
Plus Intermezzo was an easy bicycle ride, which was a lot of fun on a gorgeous night.
I was planning to come out this past week, but then I realized with the whole world series thing, that might not have been a good idea. :-) But I am totally planning on coming out this coming Wed. I can't wait to see y'all! Vote Obama on Tues! Rock on!-Andra

Yes, everyone, performers & audience were great on Friday.
Kyle & I spoke to Jem about BOTTOM OF THE SEA as a possible spot for you in the future. I gave her my card, she was out of cards... could you put us in touch or have her call/email me?
I am hoping I can get her and some of the board members to be there this Wednesday to see the space.
Again, thanks! And I'll see you soon!

It was so great to share the stage with you last night. You are one talented woman! You're voice is incredible. It's been a pleasure meeting you. Let's do another show sometime soon!! Thank you! -Andra
I take it as a good sign that we met at such an enjoyable evening for the first time. You were marvelous, and I think that the stage & the setting at UPSTAIRS AT ZOT was a good match for your performance.
Thank you for all of your help & support in pulling the show together. Peter sure is The Man Please have your friend follow-up with me about bigger future shows as well.
