This year we are co-producing the show with Becky Sanders & Scott Van Duyne of Key Largo Music. Becky and Scott produce a monthly music interview show through Mid-Peninsula Community Media Center in Palo Alto, called American Songwriter, spotlighting emerging talent in the Bay Area.
Lindsey Boullt's Musicians' Showcase will be broadcast on Comcast Channel 27 through the Media Center starting the week of December 14 throughout the holiday season. Channel 27 goes into 33,000 homes in the Media Center's service area of Palo Alto, Stanford, East Palo Alto, Menlo Park and Atherton. Every time it airs, it will be simultaneously webcast.
Lindsey Boullt's Musician’s Showcase started 14 years ago as an outlet for students to get real-life performing experience in real-life clubs. It has continued every year since and evolved into a highly respected forum for up and coming musicians, bands and students in the SF Bay area. Lindsey started the showcase in Houston in 1994 and has been operating it out of San Francisco since 1999 – thousands of players, future-signed bands, and world-famous guest musicians, there is no sign of letting up. On December 6, 2008, the milestone 75th showcase will take place. Thanks to all of you!

Lindsey received his music degree at the University of Texas-Arlington three and a half years later and then graduated with honors from the Guitar Institute of Technology in Hollywood, California. His experience has spanned the range and geography of musical genre—from NYC’s late 80’s hardcore-metal scene to Texas guitar cultures, jazzrock world fusion, and the musical avant-garde theater of San Francisco. Lindsey teaches at the renowned Guitar Institute-Hollywood and has been commissioned to score the 2007 Tribeca All Access Film Festival Award winner, “Adopted”, set for release in Summer 2008. In June of 2007, he released the 10-song original work, “Composition” which is receiving critical acclaim. In this work, he demonstrates his ability to musically communicate how culture, chaos, and the reverence for odd time can be organized into precision and power. As Derek Sherinian puts it, “It's very Zeppli-Vishnu.”
