This Sunday @ FOCUS* we'll read a personal letter written by the Apostle Paul to Philemon about a runaway slave who by the power of Jesus Christ was Changed.
Here we have one of the greatest life-changing stories in all of scripture. My promise to you is, you will encounter the presence of a life-changing God & you will not be the same - open up your heart to God and let Him speak to you.
dear lindsey, i'm katie. i was at new hope church the night you sang and i can honestly say you changed my view on god and made it a lot easier to see why he does the things he does. i do trust him and i wanted to say thanks :] i'm the girl who you pointed to at the beginning of your first song, you shook my hand and i was also one of the people in the christmas carol contest. i almost won but i got second. and when you were singing i'm also the girl who everyone came up to in the front row and sat there and listened to your song. we were all ballingg. and one more memory that might also make you remember me is when you said baller i was the girl who was like AHHH SHE SAID BALLER! thats so my word. haha maybe you remember me. idk but yah i loved you and your singing, and also your story. i have a story very similar. my dad passed away about 5 years ago this month in a motorcycle accident and this year my 19 year old sister got diganosed with bone cancer. it's all really hard and i deff understand. just like you said nobody understands until it actually happens. well it happened to me and i deff understand. thank you for changing my llife :] love, katie♥
