Lindy Jones has been pickin' tunes around southeast Alaska for a good long while now. Graduating from the nice, portable mandolin to the clunky dog house bass has been the newest part of the musical saga. At least the bass can double as a skiff in a pinch... Put a motor on that sucker.
Lindy plays bass with Kris Eli Jones (same last name... hhmmm...), backing him up on his original tunes and singing some harmony parts too. The duo has been called Green Wood in the past. Who knows what it will be called in the future.
Lindy also thumps along with Kris Eli Jones, Eric Holle, and Eli Ferrir in a bluegrass band known as Chilkat Grass.
She slaps along with Kris, Sean Tracey, Maridon Boario, and Bob Banghart in the country band, Honky Tonk Habit. You might even see her givin' the snare drum the ol' smack down in this band. Rim shot!
Rounding it all out is the band Annie Lou - consisting of Anne Louise Genest, Kim Barlow, and Keitha Clark - a harmony driven girl band featuring the original tunes of Anne Louise.
Good fun!
