............ ....Myspace Layouts.. at Pimp-My-Profile.com / ..Time for relaxation.. .. .. .. .. .. .. I began my music career as a child writing lyrics. My journey transformed at age 11 when I began playing the trumpet. With years of classical training, I went on to serve in the armed forces. Upon attending the military school of music in Norfolk Virginia, I also studied piano and voice. Although my first compositions were vocal arrangements, I felt at the time that the spoken word was the answer to writing heart felt songs and delivering a message. As time passed and many life’s changes, my music brought me back to the unspoken word and I began composing and arranging songs and delivering a message with my first voice, the trumpet. I would describe my songs as a cross between inspirational, spiritual and a taste of contemporary jazz. After years of developing a style and an independent record label, Amrak Records, I look forward to where my journey will take me next. As far as trumpet players go, Herb Alpert, Chuck Mangione, Rafael Mendez, Al Hurt, Rick Braun, and Chris Botti, have to be my favorites... But I have to say, through the years. all music has influenced me in one way or another, as that is the true power and art of music!

  • Jazz & Blues Florida - …

     Hello MySpace Friend!
Jazz & Blues Florida is bailing out of MySpace and focusing on our own websites and our Facebook network and we invite you to come join us at either or both. We don't have a Facebook business page yet, as it seems it is better to fully develop a personal page first, then migrate to business page, so come over to www.Facebook.com/JazzBluesFlorida and send in a friend request. I can't explain it, but the page comes up under my name, Charlie Boyer, but it is really us. AND, if you really want to connect to Florida's jazz & blues scene come check out our main site at www.JazzBluesFlorida.com and if you like what you see, shoot me an email and let me know  you want to sign up for our email list. You can opt for daily, weekly or monthly contact and change your mind at any time.  I am sure you understand the value of these connections and that nowadays providing that connection is your contribution to what keeps us going, like the money you used to spend on newspapers.  This is a one-time request and we hope you understand the seriousness of it, as we will be deleting your MySpace connection after we send this to you so we can keep track of making sure everyone received notice.  See you on the other side, where the good music is happening! Please excuse us if you are already over there, we had to do this as auto as possible due to the high number of friends we have to process.
