Interests include reading, writing, music, art, cooking and travelling and nursing - this is my profession at present, old stuff, glo stick related stuff, food related stuff, 50's 70's and 80's related stuff... the list goes on!My prized possessions include my lego brick hard drive and my 1970's gpo telephone and of course my cool button collection kept in an old movie reel tin...
Music
Lots! Mostly 'alternative' rock/pop related. better known bands I listen to include Switchfoot, All Star United, Edison Glass, Family Force5 (crunk not junk), DC Talk, Starfield. But I like listening to mainstream stuff sometimes to - just don't own much! The Kooks and the Klaxons, KT Tunstall, Imogen Heap... getting into feist...
Movies
Lost in Translation, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Nacho Libre, Napoleon Dynamite, The Birds, Marnie, My Best Friend's Wedding, The Motorcycle Diaries
Television
don't get the chance to watch much (and there's never anything on!) Love the Simpsons and CSI and a good murder mystery type thing. Scrubs is so funny! And let's not forget the afternoon axis of evil; doctors/jessica Fletcher/Dick and Barry Van Dyk !! Telly can't get much worse - so bad it's almost good!!
Books
ah.... so many! On a literary note I like a lot of the so called classics,I'm particularly interested in poetry and modern visual poetry also, along with more modern texts like Girl with a Pearl Earring. I'm gaining interest in some scottish/irish writers like Bernard MacLaverty and William McIlvanney. For easy reading John Grisham keeps the grey matter ticking over. Charlotte ..scanlon-gambil's book on identity carries a very important message.
Heroes
Jesus. Dr Paul Brand. People who go through life everyday and refuse to give in to the things that tell them they're not good enough. People who care enough about others to help make a difference for the better in their lives.

About me: well I'm a busy person trying to come to grips with being a grown up, and incorporating the things I love into a life that works for me. this all sounds very got-together but I fear that it's just a desperate attempt to sound clever!!!
Who I'd like to meet: well if it could be anyone dead or alive then my wishlist would include audrey hepburn, johnny depp(preferably dressed as a pirate!), emily dickinson, dr paul brand, somebody old enough to remember life before the first world war (and still remember it!) and well I'm making this up as I go along basically (unimaginitive questions....)oh yeah and paul the apostle had a pretty interesting life... I've been fortunate enough to meet most of the bands I'm interested in, so I guess it's all the people out there who make the world go round day to day (that's YOU!) who I've got the opportunity to meet now.

Yeah I've prob had a haircut since you last saw me but in my profile pic my hair is tied back so it looks bit shorter :)
glad you like, er, everything on my page! Well the parts you mentioned! Glad you like the song-no one's really listened to it as far as I know. Never really said it was there. However, graham D has got it on his page-he always humours me and adds my tracks!
Hehe funny you should mention life as a redhead in CPH...I got shouted after by some teens yesterday who were obv quite surprised at the possibility of a person being so redheaded! Hasn't happened in a while so was kinda funny.. But yeah besides racial discrimination (;P) all is good, just the usual stuff I guess. And yeah it was Latvia...and it was AWESOME!! :D God is sooo cool and he did so much cool stuff on that trip!! Yeah am back at uni too which is all good :) Anything exciting happening in your life? x
