| Music | We do many line dances to all variations of music. We do dances to modern day music, dance music, country and western, pop and so on. Line dancing isn't all about country music, something which a lot of people believe.

About me:
Hello, I'm Darren Butler and I am a line dance teacher in Coventry. I have been Line dancing for over six years in Warwickshire. My first dance class was at Chipping Campden, which is still going strong. I then joined two other dance classes who my teacher teaches, Long Marston, shortly follwed by Alcester. While in school, I entered many talent contests and did many performances, coming first and second in most. I also used my dancing as my physical recreation for my Bronze Duke of Edinburgh award. Last year, my dance teacher decided I was good enough to teach her lessons for her while she was away. This was when I realised I could teach my own class. At Easter this year, Chipping Campden and Alcester did a demonstration in Alcester town centre (see pictures) and I also joined in the Contra Line Dance with Midlands Today presenetr Nick Owen (see pictures).

| Midland Sports Centre Class |
My Line Dance class is held every Tuesday night, 7.00pm - 8.00pm at the Midlands Sports Centre in Tile Hill. Cost is £3 per person and is open to all ages. If interested, contact me via email on butler.darren@hotmail.co.uk or just turn up! Here is a map on how to get to the Midland Sport Centre.
