    I have a wide variety of interests, from making music, {tinkering with phase distortion waveform development on my ancient cz-101 to exploring drumming circles...oh, and I sing too, not terribly well, but I'm working on it}, tinkering with 10 meter radios, building computers, on and offline gaming, photography, metaphysics and philosophy, study of warrior culture, Celtic paganism, Wicca, Native American culture, poetry, Reiki energy work, studying Shamanism and alternative healing techniques. Austin Warrior (part of the Mankind Project).

    I'm nuts about sci-fi and metaphysics. I like supernatural horror flicks, and films that make you think about them long after you've seen them. There is nothing like a good edge of your seat nail-biter, or a really good description of a personal account.

    I think the best show to ever grace the screen was easily Farscape! I very much enjoyed The Black Donnellys, but like any decent show, it was canceled before it ever got off the ground. I very much enjoyed the Buffy series, Firefly, Desperate Housewives, and LOVE TrueBlood.

    The way of the peaceful warrior, Hyperion, Enders Game, The Shining, The Tommyknockers,...Wayyy too many to list. Ask me. Tell me what's good!

I have great respect for people who have the ability to suspend judgment, and instead of pushing for what they think is best, accept that everything and everyone is a process, and sometimes that process cannot be hurried along on any persons timetable. I have great respect for people who don't sublimate their emotional core with external bullshit. I honor those who do not let fear, either their own, or someone else's fear, cause them to be cruel, callous or ugly to other people. I wish I had more people with these traits in my life.

About me:

Hey, Recent events have caused me to re-evaluate many issues in my life. Time for a rewrite. Which means a lot of work, both internally and externally. (I'm always under construction). I am primarily what we used to call in Dungeons & Dragons, a "multi-class character". The trouble with building a multi-class character is that they are incredibly slow to build, but if you stick to it, the rewards make the wait well worth the trouble. Such is my life. I have been a Salesman, a Manager, an underling, a Thinker, a Detective, a Critic, a Poet, a Dreamer, A Wreck, A Conscious, A Healer and Nurturer of Souls, A Witch, A Warrior, A Soldier, A Teacher, A Writer, An Empath, A Nomad, An Addict, A Martyr, A Driver, and a Dream. Through the various stages of my experience I kept looking for myself through these various identities, or ways of being. I have currently reached a new plateau. I now realize that I am not any single one of these things, but instead, I am all of them. I am, as we all are, capable of being any one of a hundred faces that I have been, from my past. I am all of them, equally, as I am none of them. What I am has been THE MOST confounding riddle of my life. I am now beginning to get a sense that I have been looking for an answer to a riddle that doesn't HAVE, an answer. Or, more concisely, the answer is the same for me, as it is for you. The answer is... I am. My request is for you to simply BE WITH ME, as I discover what that really means. (If, in fact it has any meaning whatsoever ; ) We ARE. Maybe that's good enough? I can tell you with some degree of confidence that each and every single one of us is MUCH OLDER than you might think possible. Some day, you will remember that. In the meantime, if we can just learn to be good to each other and celebrate ourselves and each other maybe we will all reach that NEXT level of understanding. Who I'd like to meet:

I'd like to meet people who are genuine, honest and trustworthy. I desire to make friends with women who are interested in having a relationship. Please be able to ask directly for what you desire. Please expect to hold hands in public, be fussed over, expect passion. From sentimental moments to incredibly silly laughter. Expect a guy who is secure enough to be able to express all sides of his heart. I am extremely giving, but I expect my partner to be capable of returning expressions of love, intimacy, loyalty and passion. I need a woman who is emotionally available, strong and sensitive, with a good sense of when to assert herself in a relationship, and when not to. A real relationship is one where there is a balance of power. I have an ability to be able to see the beauty in most every woman. This trait has led me down some unpleasant roads when I allowed myself to be spread too thin by women who had some problems. Know in advance that I'm not looking for miss perfect. I know that nobody got this far in life without getting hurt, I only ask that you don't turn the vengeance of that previous hurt on to me. I'm always looking to expand my circle of friends :)
