Linecode Records is Techno/Electro/Minimal label.Owner of this label is DJ Erwin Redzic and he is a pioneer of Bosnia electronic music scene. DJ ERWIN REDZIC is 35 years old and still living in Oslo (Norway).He first got into contact with music during his early childhood.His big youth passion,however was Hip Hop.He was fascinated by the likes of Public Enemy,N.W.A.,A Tribe Called Quest but also by Kraftwerk,Tangerine Dream,Jean Michel Jarre or Detroit techno originators Juan Atkins and Kevin Saunderson.After having bought two turntables and mixer,he began deejaying Hip Hop in 1994.The deejay culture of the Hip Hop movement was his link to electronic music.He started deejaying at different clubs all around Bosnia,Croatia,Serbia,Hungary,Austria,Italy, where he plays together with:Dave Clarke,Marco Carola,Marco Bailey,Westbam,Redhead,Felipe,Pet Duo,Agoria,Christian Varela,Chris Liebing,Umek,Terry Francis,Valentino Kanzyani,Massimo,Ade Fenton,Petar Dundov,Jonathan Ulysses,Pero Fullhouse,Jel Ford,Darren Price,Jankec,Mario de Bellis and gets well known for his 3-deck mixing skills and sets blurring the lines between funky and groove techno. He made his first sound experiments with a sampler in 1994 and from then on continuously built up his own studio because of his avid interest in electronic music. Linecode Records has already established a reputation for very energetic sound of minimal and techno and tech-house. Linecode musical philosophy was never supposed to be firmly fixed as such but essentially just had to be funky and the artists such as Erwin Redzic,Misha Smykk,Robert Stahl,Cabal,Adrenalinoman,Ivan Gafer,Lady K.,Mikalogic,Tony Vegazz,Manel Diaz, and many others who recorded for the label captured that philosophy perfectly. The approach is simple; Release hi-quality compilations and EP's that have been previously tested on dancefloors around the world by Linecode representatives. Born in Bosnia, managed in Oslo this is an international label with the power to bring everybody on a dancefloor.
