chris friedrich has been making music under the moniker linedotstar for three years now. though his creative process is ever-evolving, he still primarily relies on the instrument he feels most comfortable with the guitar - manipulating original guitar samples into a patchwork of flowing, textured electronic melodies.
his first song, "desponder", was released in november 2003 on Interference Shift (INT 005, Interference CD/Poetry Sampler). he is also working on a split lp with artifact shore and a ep.
