LINGWORM – Three young musicians who have sworn themselves, at the end of a narrow valley, at the foot of the Matterhorn, to their awe-inspiring and creative collaboration, determined to free themselves from narrow perspectives. They are modern storytellers, somewhere between snow-capped mountains, with a breath of international flair, dancing on the razor's edge between powerful rock and charming, ballad-like tunes that are held together only by a unique, velvety voice – sometimes laughing, sometimes crying. Comparisons with other bands, among them Coldplay and Nickelback, show how hard it is to categorize their music. Two EPs, successful participations at various competitions and over 100 concerts in Switzerland and abroad since 2003 prove that the 3 ski instructors from Zermatt have much more to offer than a couple of nice swings on the slope. Their music's unique character lies in its ability to act as an emotional mirror, where you can lose yourself for a moment before you are cast back to your true self.
