i like how you slowed 'stars' down...sesame seeds would so get lost in a pocket (i don't know how you do it). not going away for a bit (mid june to late june i'll be out of town) but back for more teaching in july...hope to play so much more music before september nears. are you playing out soon? keep me posted so i can stop in.
Hi and thanks for the friendship! Here’s a video from our most recent tour, in March-April. In an attempt to merge traditions of improvisation in Vietnamese and contemporary Western culture, this is a performance of Tu Dai Oán, a traditional Vietnamese song. In this performance with Thanh Thuy (playing the dan tranh), Stefan Östersjö (playing 10-string guitar) and Henrik Frisk (laptop), this traditional tune is overlapped with free improvisation with electronics. The performance is from a Scandinavian tour in spring 2009 with The Six Tones, a Swedish/Vietnamese project merging traditional and experimental music. The video was recorded at Atalante in Gothenburg by Niklas Rydén.

hey mr linh!!!!!, member me guillermo jasso i had you for world music...i was going through my music, and i heard ur song "i go nuts 4 donuts", and i searched you in myspace and i found you, how u been do you still work in MLA?, im in for my last year in high school!!!
if you were a better vocalist...you would be god and i would rip out my vocal chords as a fitting sacrifice in your honor.
btw, i secretly feel a need to add harmonies to compensate for what i think is a lack of vocal quality on my part.
when i was listening to into the night, i instantly thought to myself - your vocals don't need the fluff of harmony. just the voice and guitar is a very good experience for the ears. tip top linh.
oh and yeah, that was my cheap acoustic guitar. thankfully it didn't sound too bad on recording.
hi linh. it took a million times of hitting play on the player...but it was worth it. to hear into the night. myspace can be weird. but anywayz, into the night was very nice plus the slithery doubling.
take care now, max
ps - i also posted tornado blues - 6th on my player.
