• That moment right before you fall asleep when all of the tension from the day leaves your body.
• The Pandora Project.
• Comedy albums, particularly Bob Newhart, Todd Barry and Christopher Titus.
• The mid-day open thread on DailyKos. It's a good mix of politics I somewhat agree with and non-political links I often enjoy.
• Having three or more types of cereal in my cupboard. Variety is the spice that validates my breakfast ... or my lunch ... or my dinner.
• Any Daily Show broadcast where Jon Stewart tees off on the 24-hour news networks.
• Hockey games called by Rick Jeanneret.
• People who know why, “And don't call me Shirley” is funny.

Things I don’t like:
• People who think important history starts only after they were born.
• PowerPoint presentations where the narrator simply reads what's already written on the slides.
• .Helicoptor parents. Let the kid do something alone.
• Video game console snobs. If the game's fun, the console doesn't matter, so drop your holier-than-thou attitude about your system.
• Light in my bedroom when it's time to sleep.
• People who think Stephen Colbert is a Republican.
• The thought that whenever I'm around two people and they start speaking Spanish, it's because they're talking about me. Yeah, I know, they are talking about me.
• Cell phones that break down in a year sold through service plans requiring a commitment of two years.
• People who call either Bush, Clinton or Obama an idiot while accusing them of every dark, intricate conspiracy. You're either an idiot or a criminal mastermind.
• Twitter users who find it necessary to tell Twitter friends goodnight.
• Tanning beds. We just have a bad history.
• Any commercial where I don't know what the product does in 30 seconds.
