Hello there lovely people. Let's just jump right in and get acquainted shall we? I'm Linsey Jennifer; a writer, a blogger, a learner driver and a Tetris addict (it's a real disease you know).

Who I'd like to meet: Hmmm I'd quite like to meet that man who transformed himself into a lizard with tatooed scales and a tongue split in the middle. I'd ask him if it was really worth it.
I wouldn't mind meeting the guy who painted the picture of the dogs smoking cigars and playing poker. I'd like to shake his hand.

Last week I updated my profile and stuff on it (including pictures and whatnot) at my wife's behest --- I had been putting it off for a long time (mostly because I don't think anyone looks at it, you know?).
Well, I'm glad I could make your day but I know I'm not the only person that enjoys your writing. Your blog probably has the biggest commenting readership I've ever seen on a "personal" type blog; I can't even imagine how many hits you get from people that don't comment (but still laugh).
Oh holy crap, yes I have weeks go by where I don't write a single word due to other obligations. As I said on the P&P podcast, I'm "guilty" of taking entire days off of work so I can just sit at Starbucks and focus on writing (and that's actually when I'm the most productive). I need to try to write more often so that I can finish this novel project and move onto another one.
But yeah, like you said, it's not the dreaded writer's block - it's the responsibilities of "life" that intrude. The best thing to do is use a calendar and make a schedule. Put down 2 or 3 hours a couple nights a week that you devote to writing and don't let other crap get in the way of that. Find a writing spot (whether that's home or a coffee shop or a pub) and go for it.
Sounds like your class is pretty fun. I'm excited to see how your project turns out because you have a fantastic writing voice.

hiya. How was your valentines? Good i hope. Didn't get any cards. boohoo. lol. Heard from that radio company. They said they're going to meet me in march so that should be good. Rain has stopped and its relatively warm down here now. Thank god I can start wearing smaller jackets and skinny tops soon!
You're in Scotland????? Whereabouts!!? Our favourite holiday destination!! It's beautiful all year round!
We're off to the Scottish islands of Coll and Tiree in our camper van this summer. Been to nearly all of the islands, but my hubby says it's too expensive to go to Shetland. We've been to Orkney though.
