Consisting of members formerly of Lost Kids (GSL) and Starlite Desperation, "Lion Fever (voted one of LAs top ten bands, LA Alternative) shoves the dug-up corpse of Jeffrey Lee Pierce(Gun Club) into the corner booth of a dive bar in Hollywood, and then dances on his table until the establishment bans them for life. The group's frontwoman Jennifer Pearl croons her scarred-heart incantations as if seduction were a stiletto dragged across a pretty throat, while exploding Nuggets riffs with punk aplomb against a musical backdrop as ghastly stark and eerie as the hills and alleys of Fante's Los Angeles. Their debut LP "Haunted Water" (Dim Mak), rattles with a brash intensity and has received countless accolades from the press and listeners alike, here and abroad.

i think i've found a solution...we can make clones of ourselves and then the clones..who will obviously be free of all cares and worries will be able to meet up, go eat cupcakes, see shows , shop for records and cool new outfits..oh what fun our clones will have!
i am chuffed that you've been creating such energetic music. i finally got my thing together and began painting. i play music still, i leave it primarily to the professionals.

Saw you guys open for She Want's Revenge back in 05. You guys tore the crowd a new one. No shit. When do you think you'll tour again? Seriously, you'll always have a floor to crash on in Boise. Come back!
I had the most amazing dream last night, I heard that Lion Fever was coming to the Washington D.C. area and I immediatley bought tickets. When I went to the show the most wonderful thing happened. I noticed for the first time that the singer was an undead napoleonic soldier and the drummer was a fat bald robot (I learned later that the previously mentioned robot was a former Hell's Angel who had recently been in a terrible motorcycle accident). I was amazed when the set began that the band was not actualy playing but was showing a sketch comedy program featuring a cast made up mostly of gay brittish men. After about forty five minutes of this, the band would come out, link arms and sing "higher ground" acapella and would immediatley run off stage and show the sketch show again. When I got home after the show I fell asleep on the coutch, watching "The Weather Man." I woke up the next day and rushed to my computer and logged into Myspace to find nothing but the boring old Lion Fever who I highly recommend come play in D.C.
