LION ROOTS SOUND is located in south of FRANCE. Steflion,(selector & operator), after a travel to London in 1998 meets ABA SHANTI I in the house of roots where Aba played, and there was the revelation, a desire, to build his own sound system and spread the reggae message inna Roots & culture vision . LION ROOTS SOUND played since 1999 a roots & conscious message with exclusive music and made a lot of featuring with many artists from JAMAICA such as ROD TAYLOR, U-BROWN, LONE RANGER, KING KONG, NATURAL BLACK (JA) in 2002 & 2003, and with UK artists like KENNY KNOTS, CULTURE FREEMAN, TENA STELLIN, JAH MARNYAH,IYAHKAYAH, MURRY MAN, AFRIKAN SIMBA and some good meeting with many artists from U.K & France like ABA SHANTI I, with his return in France in 2001 with three consecutives dates Nice, Toulouse & Bordeaux, CHANNEL 1 SOUND, IRATION STEPPAS, DISCIPLES, VIBRONICS, ZION GATES, CULTURAL WARRIORS, BLACKBOARD JUNGLE, JAH WORKS. Today LION ROOTS SOUND have his own sound system with a power of 24 kw straight inspired of the English school , and his own label LION ROOTS MUSIC, playing a conscious and militant reggae for the unity and peace through France and Europe. Music is a medecine!!!
