We listen to a lot of music... here's a random list of some better-known artists we like:
The Beatles, Marvin Gaye, My Morning Jacket, Bloc Party, Talking Heads, Radiohead, Fleet Foxes, Prince, Nirvana, Vampire Weekend, Alice in Chains, Pink Floyd, The Cure, Beastie Boys, The Raconteurs, Modest Mouse, The Fall of Troy, Pixies, Kings of Leon, MGMT, The Mars Volta, Minus the Bear, Sigur Ros, The Postal Service, Dave Matthews Band, Portishead, Kanye West, + a whole lot more...
Chris Bryant is from the Midwest and Chris Fresco is from the Northwest. After hustling open mic nights in Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill for nearly two years, they decided to collaborate. Since late 2008, they've been playing-out as a band in and around the Triangle. While playing venues all around town as a collective, both continue to play and drink whatever's on special at open mics in the area. Bryant likes to sing falsettos and Fresco is really into his ride cymbal.
Hey, we encourage all of you to befriend us, tell your folks about us, come hang out at our shows, drink with us, etc. And please feel free to support:
Oh also, I was wondering if you could you do me a favor? It would only take a few seconds. Could u please click on the Songcast banner below and register. Even if you aren't a musician. It is free and only takes a few seconds. The reason why I am asking you is because Songcast will pay me $1.00 for everyone that I can get to register. This would be a very easy way for you to help an Indie musician without spending a dime. I am just utilizing creative ways to make money so that I have more time to write. Thanks
Thanks for the add and taking the time to listen to my music. I am sure that you get request from bands all the time so it is really cool of you to actually listen. What are your favorite bands?
yeah, it was a good time yesterday. i'm not sure if our band will play or not next week, but i'll try to come out. it just happens to be the middle of finals week next wednesday!
hey! not too much. my sister told me to check out your band, so i did. you have a great sound. i'm a big ted leo fan and the song you have up reminded me of something from hearts of oak.
