About me: The monthly Lion's Den Coffee House at St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Teaneck, NJ provides an open microphone and a relaxed, welcoming space for artistic and cultural expression. Musicians, poets, comedians, dancers, spoken word speechifiers and other performance artists are invited to participate. The Lion's Den is open to people of all backgrounds and admission is free. St. Mark's Episcopal Church is located at 118 Chadwick Road in Teaneck [dig this map]. Directions are also available right here.
The Den gets started at 7:00 pm on the last Saturday evening of each month and usually runs for about two hours. Participants are welcome to sign up on a first-come, first-served basis. You are invited to offer acoustic or lightly amplified music, poetry, comedy, dance, dramatic readings, or other types of performance art. Coffee, tea and other refreshments are provided by the organizing committee, and all are welcome to attend.
