Lori Lappin
My Names: (hebrew) Liorah Chanah, (craft) Lleucu, (noble) Myfanwy
Iconoclastic, artistic, solitary, intuitive, eccentric.
Mother of 3 adult children and grandmother of 6 grandchildren.
A registered professional nurse and biochemist by education, my professional experience includes critical care clinical nursing, quality management, clinical development, clinical reimbursement data management and pharmaceutical discovery research. Currently, I am employed in the area of clinical reimbursement data management.
Religiously, I "returned to Torah" (Judaism) in 1996, formally in 1997, and have been studying Jewish kabbalah and shamanic Judaism ever since in a wide range of religious settings - from Liberal to Hasidic. My focus has particularly concerned the mystical Hebrew alphabet, and more recently the Celtic Ogham and Bardic alphabets, using them as tools to expand awareness and channel creative consciousness.
I am a Celtic Jew with Native American ancestry as well. In view of this, the natural evolution of my religious explorations have led me to investigate and incorporate aspects of Celtic witchcraft and Native American shamanism into a wholistic realization of my particular Jewish individuality. Consequently, given the eclectic nature of my personal path, I call myself a Jewitch.
