This group brings together the power house combination of electronic music , techno, hard-core, noise ,rock and avant-garde jazz. We perform regularly in Vienna at Rhiz, Fluc and Celeste as well as all across Europe including: Albertina, Haus-Wittgenstein, Wien; Zürich; Venice Biennale 2007, and the Beethoven Memorial House ............................................................................................................................................................................................................. ddkern started in 1983 to play drums and percussion, classical training + 8 years in a marching band. he is best known as drummer of two of the best underground bands in austria, "bulbul" and "fuckhead" but he also plays in combos like wipeout, the full moon barkestra, blast of silence, glutamat, gonzo... released records on mego and dow_funk_index. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PHILIPP QUEHENBERGER plays keyboard and has been devastating viennese and international clubs and festivals for the last fifteen years with a raw and loud "dance"solo project that usually causes quite some people to leave as quickly as they can.strangely,he can actually make a living from this and playing in other weird projects. released records on viennese underground labels cheap, sabotage and most recently, editions mego. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Musician/composer/alto saxophonist MARCO ENEIDI has learned music by way of the oral tradition from his many close friends and mentors. Aesthetics, composition and the organizing of sound structure comes mainly through two close personal friendships with Bill Dixon and Cecil Taylor. Composition work with William Allaudin Mathieu, Pauline Oliveros and Alvin Curran. On the horn would of course have to include Sonny Simmons for sound, Jimmy Lyons for speed, and Jim Pepper, Dewey Redman, C Sharpe, Don Cherry and Earl Cross for love and support. Time, Space, Rhythm and the snap-crackle-pop of life from Denis Charles, Jackson Krall, Spirit and Donald Robinson. And Way Down Low from Wilbur Morris, Peter Kowald, William Parker and Lisle Ellis. ------ Formed the label "BOTTICELLI RECORDS" 1987 ------ Other groups involved with include the Georg Graewe/Marco Eneidi Quartet and "ssnaetch-kraeutl-biep". Currently director of "The Neu New York-Vienna Institute of Improvised Music", every monday nite jam session since September 2005.
