LIPSTICK + WILDFLOWERS OFFERING NEW ALTERNATIVE LIFESTYLE APPAREL IN
SENSUAL BUTTER SOFT QUALITY TEES
New York, NY November 2006 - Lipstick + Wildflowers Fall Line debut.
Anticipate a new twist in quality graphic t-shirts by designer and
founder Tracey M. Robinson.
This new apparel brand is expected to make waves in the alternative
lifestyle realm.
Inspired by edgy, confident and fashion forward females, the line
features premium quality graphic cotton t-shirts in several styles
including long sleeve, hoodies, as well as hand crocheted hats and
bracelets. The hip butter soft t-shirts in bold colors are cut to fit
women gracefully with a dashing style that's casual, but demands
attention with its irrefutable sense of originality. Many of the brand’s
t-shirts go through an extensive softening and hand dying process, thus
creating a super soft vintage feel. Lipstick + Wildflowers will add a
variety of custom details to their tees from silk screening, airbrushing
and custom embellishments such as studding, embroidery and beautiful
fabrics. Products are currently priced from $25 to $100. Clients can
make purchases from their Fall 2006 Collection, November 2006 at
www.lipstickandwildflowers.com.
Lipstick + Wildflowers will feature two distinct lines. One which will
include clothes for the "Wildflowers" which will evoke trendy yet
classic slacks, jackets and shirts for the sexy, earthy and sporty
types. “In the gay community many women who are more androgynous or
tomboyish in style, shop in men’s stores. The clothes are usually boxy
and ill fitted. We want to move women away from that and create clothing
that is sporty, stylish, sexy and tailored with a masculine attitude,
but designed to fit a woman’s body”, says Robinson.
"Lipstick" for the funky femme, will include flirty skirts, blouses,
jackets and dresses that exude femininity, sensuality, confidence and a
cool trendsetter style.
Lipstick + Wildflower's image is all about being true to yourself and
your own style. The masterful brand caters to those who want to make a
creative fashion statement everyday with personality and flare. Whether
it’s hanging out in Park Slope at the local coffee shop or a night at
The Abbey in Los Angeles. “We want to take t-shirts to the next level,
where you can throw one on to hang with friends at a lounge or an after
work soiree under a designer suit.” says Robinson.
"We hope that once women purchase our high grade quality t-shirts that
they will never go back to the boxy un-sexy t-shirts out on the market
today.”, says Robinson. “We envision a place where the “Lipstick” and
“Wildflower” can shop together.” Think of the androgynous look of
“Shane”; the sexy, tailored cool of “Bette”, the flirty femininity of
“Tina” and the tomboyish yet funky femme appeal of “Carmen” from “The L
Word” all in one store.
The Lipstick +amp; Wildflowers clothing line addresses a growing demand
among gay women for fitted, sexy and hip clothing. Lipstick +
Wildflowers offers clothing that lets one exhibit their style whatever
may be, whether it's the femininity displayed by the “Lipstick” or the
sportiness of the “Wildflowers”. The grassroots production of all
garments are made in-house from designing to packaging. Our brand
identity has created a loyal following with many satisfied customers in
not only the gay community, including men and transgenders but from
those who love and support them.
Although Lipstick + Wildflowers, Inc. is a small business, clientele
nationwide have already made contact with the company for their
t-shirts. This little company supporting color, design, fit, aesthetic
and quality is certainly unlikely to remain small for long.
