So, all good things come to an end. In fact, all things come to an end, bad things too, and by this token, Liquid Distortion are no more!
We've had a great 2 years together, but have decided to part ways. There are lots of reasons for it, the main one being, we all have projects we need to concentrate on, and Liquid Distortion just wasn't progressing.
Thanks to everyone who supported us, listened to us, told your friends about us, watched us live, etc.
If you wanna get hold of an E.P. containing as many recordings as we can find, get in touch. We haven't decided a price yet but it won't be pocket-busting.
Our final gig is gonna be at Margam Bikers Festival. We don't have the date yet, but as you can imagine, we're gonna make it pretty fucking special, so be there, and make everyone you know also be there!
My band "The Landing" is playing our first ever gig in Wales! It's at The Studio Bar in Merthyr Tydfil on Saturday July 5th. We're playing in the final of a Battle of the Bands competiton to win a support slot with Status Quo at Cyfartha Park later this month!

I'm studying a degree in Popular Music Performance in the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance in London, and it's great! I reckon the teaching there is way better than Drumtech or ACM.
if i ever do need a band for something you'll be the first to know ;-)
the reason i stopped is that i didn't have anytime to practice that regularly!! :( i still have a bash sometimes though...i can play the clarinet!! :) it is hard though...the flute is a lot easier...that was my 'main' instrument!
haha that video is a fucking beast perfect live gutted we couldnt play with you in bar inc the other day im in in the firing line lol i turned up but none of the other guys in my band did was well tamping maybe another time and place guys =] x
events management!! ummm that would involve...plannings conferences weddings and banquets etc. basically i'd be the person who organises Battle of the Bands and big things like the Ideal home show and the BBC Good Food show!
coool...apart from singin i play piano and woodwind instruments (sadi know) i rarely play anymore though!!
cool cool i shall try to come to that!! if i'm there i'll let you know ... somehow!!
as for gettin to know me hmmm... Umm... I'm Sara Loveday, I'm 17 and live in Bridgend (and not suicidal!!)I'm in Neath Port Talbot College studying Hospitality and hopefully off to Uni in a year's time to study Events Management! In my spare time, you can usually find me out with my mates, out on the piss or on the net! As for music, I LITERALLY can listen to anything! I've been taught to sing (which lead me to read music obviously) and play various instruments so i can naturally listen to any music and appreciate it!
heyy hey... i have seen you play...at the BOTB final!? i was with dewi bowen (lead singer of Broken City Skyline) but haven't been out much recently cos of college and work!
where are you playin next? might pop aqlong if i find some free time!?
Yo. I dont think we are headlining. Its either you guys or kinky wizards...Or there isnt a headline act lol.
One of our cas broken at the moment so we are kind of fucked for moving equipment in a clio. If we could borrow a guitar or bass amp that would be awesome. I dunno about a drum kit yet. I think i'll contact the other band for that!
