About me: Creative visionary and founder of both Liquid Connective and Liquid Records. . . . . . >>>
Liquid Connective was founded in Jan 2000 and soon became known as one of the best underground event organisations in the UK ... providing a platfrom for artists, musicians, DJs and producers to present and showcaes their creations to a wider audience. Due to the success and growth of the Liquid events, the label was born giving a more focused and professional direction with the aim of pioneering a new wave of creativity within the music and multi-media
arts industries.
Label DJ Liquid Djems is A/R boss on the chill/elecronica side of Liquid Records and has recently compiled and released the first in a series of up-beat chill compilations called 'soul vibration#001' - a unique fusion of organic electronica and deep pulsating psy dub n breaks. Although working mostly on the more up-beat chill side of things James is also known to rock a dance floor.....playing a more intelligent mix of rolling full spectrum psychedelic breaks fused with phatt and funky psy trance. . . guaranteed to rip up the dance floor.
Over the last seven years James has had international gigs in place like Egypt, Greece, France, Italy, Spain, South Africa, Central America and Turkey and has played at hundreds of events in the UK including Glastonbury fesitival, Glade festival, Synergy project and Little Green Planet to name a few, alongside with some of the biggest names in the industry.
With gigs already booked in Turkey, USA, South America, Japan, Ibiza and UK, 2006 is looking full power

iBreaks is back in 2009 and what a treat we have for you to kick off what should be a really interesting one for the breakbeat scene.
Rennie Pilgrem’s Remix Competition winners new duo BSD kick off their Breakbeat career with this massive EP “Intoxikated Muzik”. A Real Musical journey which takes a really solid and original approach to the Breaks sounds. Challenging sounds, with a clear common point, positive vibe and both great dancing and listening tunes all the way down.
This is one of the extremely exciting additions iBreaks Records signed for 2009 which altogether sums up a very young team of shockingly talented producers with new and fresh Breakbeat sounds called to be at the very top of the genre…
Tracks like “Intoxicated Music” “Funkdation” or “Get Hype on This” are just a clear statement of a new force coming strong … that force is B-S-D
Fat and funky stuff!! - Laurent Garnier
Can we see BSD following in the footsteps of the plumps?? - Far Too Loud
loving BSD. They are great tunes. - Plump Djs
Antiworld, Q Club & HOMmega Productions Present: Astrix & Friends 004 The Tour Fri 30 Jan 2009 @ Q2 Birmingham Sat 31 Jan 2009 @ indigo2 @ the 02 London www. astrixandfriends. co. uk
Astrix returns to the UK for his most ambitious tour yet. On Fri 30 January he makes his debut at Bgham’s Q Club alongside local legend Sabretooth, who’ll be launching his new album, and Dejavoo live. Then on the Sat he’s following in the footsteps of dance music greats Tiesto, Paul van Dyk and Infected, taking on one of the world’s top venues, the o2’s incredible Indigo. As well as playing a live set of upfront tracks from his forthcoming third album ‘Red Means Distortion’ — and of course all the classic tracks that have kept him in the DJ Magazine Top 50 for the third year running — he’ll be launching new digital EP ‘One Step Ahead’, a limited edition multi-media production available on USB stick only. He’ll also be bringing along HOMmega label mates X-noiZe, Krunch and Delirious, who’ll be joined by the Antiworld residents. With X-noiZe and Krunch launching their new albums ‘Wheel of Misfortune’ and ‘Booster’, this promises to be one of THE psy trance events of 2009. The credit crunch is hitting everyone hard and we know you want to party more than ever… so we’re keeping advance ticket prices as low as we can. As our New Year’s present to our loyal fans, all advance tickets are being kept to just £20 (London)/£12 (Bgham) and capacity restricted to 1200 (London)/600 (Bgham). But be warned — at the time of going to press almost half of the tickets for o2 were sold out already!!!
See you all there! Peace & Love Happy 2009!!! The Antiworld Crew...
Hi
Latest massive release on iBreaks BASS
Here we have the 5th issue of iBreaks Bass, welcoming onboard to MKM & GBX with this their first release under the iBreaks group…. And what a package…!! Surely this is the biggest, bassier, heavier, dancier release on the label so far with 2 ultra-large-full-fat enormous bass rollers.
“I Don’t think So” could prove one of the biggest tracks of 2008, and is one of those straight to the point full on Breakbeat mayhem, with no time to rest and just huge elements loaded with a ridiculous amount of energy and power. This track scared the hell out of us the first time we played it loud after being offered to us from the Brazilian duo… is heavy!!!
“Xtra Xtra” is by no means the little brother of “I Don’t Think So”. The energy levels are also well up to the top, although this time with a bit of a techier approach to the huge amounts of sub bass…
As a whole what we believe is the biggest release under the label, and one of the most powerful on iBreaks over all..
General Midi: Loving This.... Proper Fuckin Breakbeat!!
Far Too Loud: Big Tunes, I Dont Think So Gettin Full Support from us!!
Available @ Beatport, Breakbeatonline, Juno, Trackitdown and others...
Check them out on www. ibreaks. co. uk
