Women’s wake sports are coming into a new era. We’d like to think that we are on in the forefront. We are a group of women and girls, young and old, new and seasoned that have come up with a formula to give the momentum of women’s wake sports an enormous heave forward. Our formula and answer to the call for women in wake sports is MAVEN.
We are a team of professional athletes, ambassadors for females in the sport who strive to spread the Maven spirit, creators of a line of female-specific equipment and members of a global community who love to ride. Our goals are to provide you with helpful information, education on wake sports equipment, networking for women and girls to come together and make the sport more accessible and exposure of what we love to do and do as a profession.
Please consider yourself an essential part of our community and follow along with us as we travel around the world doing what we love and spreading our passion for it—meeting and inspiring women and girls to enjoy life more while having fun on the water. Who I'd like to meet: YOU! at a Maven session this summer:
The Maven Sessions are a nation-wide tour of wake sports clinics for women and girls taught by the Maven Pro athletes. We invite all ages and levels to join us. Last year’s attendees spanned in ages 4 yrs old to 62 and levels from first-timers to almost pro. Our goals in the Maven Sessions are to grow your confidence on the water, teach you proper body position to help you progress, educate you on board shape and design, and to help you network with other local girls who love to ride. We will provide a complete demo line of gear for the event. We’ve been working hard on our 2008 product line and are excited to share it with you! Come join us for an educational, communicative and action-packed day on the water. Come learn what Maven is all about and how to enjoy water sports to the fullest.
