LIRIUM are a brand new UK based project featuring established musicians who have joined forces to take the world by storm with a brand new sound.
Drawing on influences from a wide horizon of genres, LIRIUM's signature 'big sound' will blend soaring ethereal vocal melodies, enchanting harmonies and ambient soundscapes with hook-laden melodic rock and contemporary hard-edged metal with a progressive twist, with emphasis on delivering infectious melodies and commercially attainable song structures.
The preview clips from the writing scratch demos have been uploaded to give you a taster of what's to come. However, once the band hit the studio later this year, the true scale of LIRIUM's sound will be inveiled in the form of the strictly Limited Edition debut EP that will be made exclusively available via myspace on a first come, first serve basis.
This very special Ltd Edition EP will not be reissued, so, if you want to ensure you get a copy of this future collector's item, send an email with your name and location, and you will be among the first to be notified of it's release details, and the band will happily autograph copies by request upon purchase.
The debut album will follow in early 2010, and live dates are already being scheduled, so it's all going to take off very soon, and we hope you'll be with us from the start of a very special journey.
This temporary page will be updated and enhanced with pics, bios and more teasers of whats to come as progress continues. So, until we "officially" meet... spread the light, and stay tuned!
