I enjoy reading, writing, watching movies, dinning out, staying in, flowers, chocolate, thoughtful conversations, chatting, shopping, people watching, pool, darts, old cars, Harley's, puter games (World of Warcraft), rock & roll, love songs, country, long drives, boats, the beach, the rain, the morning and so much more.
I love to talk. I listen to music alot and enjoy watching movies. Rock is my first choice in music but I also listen to love songs, a little country and some Mozart. Deep Purple is my fav band and Bridget Jones's Diary and The Edge of Reason are my favorite movies. I love to write. I love to makeup quotes, and the ones typed into this page are mine. I just finished my first novel - think Lord of the Rings meets StarWars on crack. I have written many poems during my life - two are in a blog at the top of the page. Ive been published three times - two poems and short story about my childhood. I enjoy reading non-fiction. I mostly read about people, history, sociology, the news and cosmology.

I only read non-fiction - and yes I know that is odd for a fiction writer - but I want to know everything and lifes to short. I love all history but WWII is my favorite. I also read sociology, the news and cosmology - black holes, the big bang etc.....

I just finished my first novel. Its an epic Sci-Fi. Think Lord of the rings meets Starwars on crack. I'm in love with the characters and the story - it almost wrote itself. Now on to my next book =-)

There are a few more books to the story and I have already begun the next one in line. I also plan on writing my life story. My life so far has been one a hell of a ride. My blog - The Long Journey Home to Me - is a small taste of what that will be like. *** Writing a novel was an important goal I had set for myself a few years ago. This became my Everest; my personal challenge to myself. I finely set aside an entire year to write the one I just finished--that turned into three years, doing two rewrites and trying to self-edit the best I could. I have the next novel just about completed in my mind--now I have to type, type and retype it. =-)~

I would like to chat with people who are not afraid to say they love their country. Someone who’s patriotism does not hinge on the quality of their politicians or the soundness of their decisions . People not to embaressed to say they love their God. The kind of people that think most people are good and nice. Someone that has something to say. People in the ARTs.
