My family and friends; my dogs; reading; writing; painting; walking; conversation; lounging around watching movies; chocolate; red wine; making music; dancing (Gabrielle Roth's 5 Rhythms and, more recently, Egyptian dance); perception; learning something new; the natural world; exploring cyberspace; exploring myths; exploring the capabilities of the mind; discovering all I can about the nature of reality; stretching myself and breaking boundaries.

I love most music. Most listened to are: Dead Can Dance; This Mortal Coil; Tony Lowe; David Sylvian; Peter Ulrich; Alwa Glebe; Nickelback; Antonio Pontarelli; The Waterboys; Phantom of the Opera; Lynyrd Skynyrd; Spirit, Buffy Sainte-Marie; Hothouse Flowers; Kasabian; Peter Gabriel; Marilyn Manson; Rob D; Billie Holiday; Grace Slick; and my favourite classics - Pachelbel's Canon in D Major; Holst's The Planets; Tchaikovsky; Beethoven (especially his 5th Symphony and Moonlight Sonata)

Salinger, Charles de Lint, Gaston Leroux, Margaret Atwood, Colm Toibin, Bill Dawson, Umberto Eco, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Isabelle Allende, Niall Williams, Henry David Thoreaux, A.S. We're all heroes, engaged in our own mythic quests.

About me: Author, illustrator, journalist and screenwriter Lisa Tenzin-Dolma was born in Portsmouth, England. She spent her childhood and teens living in England, Malta, Scotland, Malaysia, and Singapore, which sparked a deep ongoing interest in an exploration of various cultures and philosophies and shaped the course of her life and work.
Lisa won numerous awards for her writing while still in school. She moved to Ireland just after the publication of her first book and worked for an Irish newspaper. Then, on returning to England, she moved around for a few more years before settling in the beautiful Roman and Georgian city of Bath.
In between writing 12 books, training as a canine psychologist and bringing up 5 children, Lisa has had over 500 magazine articles published on a wide range of subjects and is a special consultant for the US film industry. Her interest in the sciences sparked a study of the principles of quantum physics, cosmology and Chaos theory, which led her to explore the synthesis between the sciences and self-understanding. She is a member of the Institute of Noetic Sciences, and was awarded an honorary PhD by Moffett University.
Lisa's debut novel, "The Swan Lake", which is set in Ireland, is now out, and she has written a feature film screenplay of the story. Her latest non-fiction book, "Mind & Motivation: The Spirit of Success", is a distillation of Lisa's explorations into the paths to purpose and fulfilment, and how our perception shapes our reality.
Lisa: Finally, our over active mailbox is letting us respond to our friends. Your kind words and friendship are much appreciated, thank you! Stop by any time for a listen, we are always here for you.
I thought the dogs would enjoy all the adventure of nosing their way around the fallen leaves! I love it!! :)
We are having the most beautiful Fall day here.. blue skies and warm temps. Our leaves have fallen here too and we've already had a big snow storm with 27" of snow! Its early for October but it put such a serene spin on the scenery in the most amazing way..
If a kiss was a raindrop... I'd send you showers. ♥If hugs were a second... I'd send you hours. ♥If smiles were water... I'd send you the sea. ♥ If friendship was a person... I'd send you me. ♥If you don't send this to at least 10 people... So that they know that you appreciate them. ♥ This poem shows lots of appreciation... So send this to all of your friends and let them know you care ♥friends ARE LIKE BALLOONS ONCE U LET THEM GO YOU CAN'T GET THEM BACK SO I'M GOING TO tie YOU TO MY HEART SO I NEVER LOSE YOU SEND THIS TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS INCLUDING ME!♥ SEE HOW MANY YOU GET BACK
i wandered, i wondered, i see the sea ! waves run over me my tide is high, salt assaults my sense of smell, the sands of time suspended as footsteps on the sand ! my time ,time for me to wonder in my mind or on the beach, reality is in my grasp but as grains of sand in my hand ,,is it mine or is it passing by ?
the writing is going great...starting a new story series called BLUEBEAM where someone tries to fake the fulfillment of an end of the world prophecy...
