About me: Author, illustrator, journalist and screenwriter Lisa Tenzin-Dolma was born in Portsmouth, England. She spent her childhood and teens living in England, Malta, Scotland, Malaysia, and Singapore, which sparked a deep ongoing interest in an exploration of various cultures and philosophies and shaped the course of her life and work.
Lisa won numerous awards for her writing while still in school. She moved to Ireland just after the publication of her first book and worked for an Irish newspaper. Then, on returning to England, she moved around for a few more years before settling in the beautiful Roman and Georgian city of Bath.
In between writing 12 books, training as a canine psychologist and bringing up 5 children, Lisa has had over 500 magazine articles published on a wide range of subjects and is a special consultant for the US film industry. Her interest in the sciences sparked a study of the principles of quantum physics, cosmology and Chaos theory, which led her to explore the synthesis between the sciences and self-understanding. She is a member of the Institute of Noetic Sciences, and was awarded an honorary PhD by Moffett University.
Lisa's debut novel, "The Swan Lake", which is set in Ireland, is now out, and she has written a feature film screenplay of the story. Her latest non-fiction book, "Mind & Motivation: The Spirit of Success", is a distillation of Lisa's explorations into the paths to purpose and fulfilment, and how our perception shapes our reality.
Always love for you Lisa !! While sending out these notes I wanted to stop in and tell you what a great inspiration and impact you have made in my life! I am very grateful I was blessed some time ago by seeing your profile and reading of you. I found beauty in the art of sacred friendships though they seem so far at times. Hugz Always ~Bear Moonstruck into a feeling of burning fire light, I decided to walk the beach tonight. To feel the tide shift within me. Another passing thought of being held has surfaced. The moon is a cool bath in heat. My arms ache for what I seek. Daylight showered in dawn of hope kissing the night wind warm. Nature is singing with a tongue of Warrior Angels wearing robes in heart born purple. We are gently touched by golden wings. Then I see...Gliding hands plunge deep within the mothers pond of tears wearing heavens yellow orb. Swollen cat tails surround dancing water lillies and point at winking stars covering the midnight song. Evolving wraith curled inside the shell of flesh, weeps upon the pine in cedar cloaks for way too long. Fly with silver wings of Dragonflies romancing the stars deep in blue windows opening hearts into fervent skies. Hummingbird beaks in tiny shrieks paint sweetness in dusted strokes. Love still a mystery in the pollin of timeless wonder. You are my friend in shining awe. One of the best of friends I ever saw. I pray your weekend of ceremonies and celebrations are filled with great joy. Protecting Wild Things, Kicking Bear Barry The Eccentric Poet
