NEW 11 TRACK CD BETRAYAL BLUES OUT APRIL 2008 ON THE SBR LABEL The Revelators have shared the international stage with Eric Bibb, Walter Trout, Nine Below Zero, Ian Siegal, The Yarbirds, The Blues Band, Lisa Mills and Danny Bryant and have also played some of the UK’s biggest festivals.

The Revelators are now a duo with Billy G Wride on vocal and guitar and Simon Gregory on harp, slide, bass andwashboard, the songs which you are listening to are demos from duo recording, the duo CD will be out in the autumn and will be of far better quality of demo’s your are hearing at the moment Gordon Wride (Billy G) - guitar/dobro and vocals Simon Gregory - blues harp Gordon Wride the original member of the band who is an Amman Valley product (Cwmgors) who now lives in Swansea, his knowledge of blues has brought him to the attention of many international media companies which include a stint with BBC Radio Wales. Gordon also runs the international music management business www.slimsblues.com , which has worked and collaborated with some of the best blues artists who are touring at the moment. Gordon has been playing guitar for over 20 years and 7 years ago decided to throw himself completely into playing acoustic slide, the last two decades has been a mission of discovery and immersing himself into pre war blues with the study of techniques of artists such as Robert Johnson, Son House, Charley Patton, Muddy Water, Elmore James and Howlin W Gordon has been quoted in reviews with a vocal delivery which is authentic and raw and a no frills stripped back slide technique of old, and a breath of fresh air (100 Club London Review Sep 2005) The Revelators A new breed of blues taking standard Delta/Chicago songs and giving them a new twist and also writing some wicked songs him self, keep watching for orginal recording coming soon on myspace ! Venues/Festivals Played The Point Cardiff, The 100 Club London, The Toucan Club Cardiff, The Inferno Swansea,The Chicago Rock Cafe Swansea, The Blaenavon Blues Weekend, Mumbles Jazz/Blues Festival and The Swansea Uplands Festival, Tenby Blues Festival - to name but a few. Billy G Wride also toured the UK in 2004 and 2005 with Lil’ Dave Thompson (Greenville Mississippi) as tour manager and co artist, coverering all of the UK and performing at over 40 major venues and festival,

listened to the cd a couple of times its good,i like betrayal blues best you write that?
been listening to a reggae fella joe higgs quite alot recently its good stuff you'd probably quite like it,theres a video on my profile of him.
