Lisa Banks grew up in a former mining village in South Staffordshire near Cannock Chase. Well known on the midlands folk scene, mainly as a band player with various line up's including collaborations with Steve Cartwright, Fields Beneath and Naseby Square.
Lisa has now stepped out of the shadows to record an album of her own.
'From Flora With Love' is due for release in June 2009. The album features six Lisa Banks original songs a four trad arrangements of songs and tunes.
This is a fully arranged and produced album and features a host of superb musicians.
