And now she is stepping out on her own, with a new CD of acoustic pop that has garnered rave reviews. Her style has been compared to Sheryl Crow, Jewel, Jason Mraz, and KT Tunstall, among others.
Her new CD, "Paint Your Dreams," was completed at Jon Bon Jovi's home studio, with renowned producer Obie O’Brien. The CD includes contributions from musicians such as Shawn Pelton (the drummer from Saturday Night Live, with credits such as Sheryl Crow, Joan Osborne, Shawn Colvin, Michelle Branch, etc.) and Bobby Bandiera (credits include Bon Jovi, Graham Parker, Dave Edmunds, etc.); with special guest appearances from legendary singers Southside Johnny and Gary US Bonds.
Songs from Lisa's album are among those available from Starbucks Hear Music® Media Bars in the Starbucks Hear Music® Coffeehouses in select cities around the U.S.
Lisa supported the CD release with a national tour opening for Blues Traveler. She has also performed with Bryan Adams, Dar Williams, Kansas, Nancy Sinatra, John Waite, David Bromberg, Hot Tuna, Southside Johnny & The Jukes, Richard Marx, Sophie B. Hawkins, Gary U.S. Bonds, Nils Lofgren, The Wailers, and members of Phish and the Jerry Garcia Band, among others. She has appeared on NBC, ABC, CBS, Fox, ESPN, the Tennis Channel, Comcast shows “Backstage” and “One On One With Steve Adubato,” the “Jersey Guys” Radio show on New Jersey’s 101.5, the morning show on New York’s WPLJ, and NPR.
