Lisa has accomplished quite a bit in her eighteen-year professional career. She lists to her credits a Nashville project recorded in 1989 for Jaron Records, as well as opening shows for such artists as Kenny Chesney and Neil McCoy. She has been a back-up singer for John Schneider and Ben "Cooter" Jones, both of "The Dukes of Hazzard" TV show. She currently is a member of "Cooter’s Garage Band", "Shenandoah Jubilee", and the "Pony Express Band".
In the summer of 2004, Lisa was blessed to perform with "Cooter’s Garage Band", for the pre-show, live on WSM Radio, at the “Grand Ole Opry” in Nashville, Tennessee. Later that night they performed on the “Midnight Jamboree” at the Ernest Tubb Theater, with Jim Ed Brown and Helen Cornelius. This show was also broadcast live on WSM Radio.
Lisa sang at “Duke’s Fest 06” for a record crowd of 100,000+, and has recently started singing with “Jimmy Fortune and Skyline Drive”. She also appeared in Jimmy’s new DVD recorded in December 2006, and sang a duet with David Frizzell- his hit song, "You’re the Reason God Made Oklahoma". She said that it was a dream come true!
Lisa had her first charting song this past Christmas with "His Promise to Me", written by Lynn Beckman. It peaked at 6 on the NCM charts and was played by DJ's all over the world, which was another dream come true.
On June 1,2007, Lisa made her Grand Ole Opry stage debut singing with Cooter’s Garage Band, John Schneider, and the cast of the “Dukes of Hazzard”. She also performed at the infamous “Nashville Palace”, where the owner commented, “She is the best kept secret in Nashville.”
Lisa said her CD "Blessings" is, "Love songs to my Lord and the people I love." Christian music is what she loves to sing but can also entertain you with a variety of country cover songs from Patsy, Loretta, Reba and many more!
In July, 2008, Lisa had the honor of representing the United States in the World Championships of Performing Arts held in Hollywood, CA. She came away from a week of competitions, with 41 other countries, receiving the Gold Medal in Gospel Music, Country Music and R&B Music. She received the silver medal for the Variety Music category and the Open category. She also earned the award for Best Over-all in Country and R&B Music in her category! She was honored with the Industry Award given to those who excel in the perfroming arts. Lisa said,"This was a gift from God and 'over and above anything I could ever imagine' but that's my God! He deserves all the glory!"
