Born the June Dairy Baby in a small farming community in Idaho, Lisa C. Pollock was not only photographed and featured in the local paper within minutes of her birth; the local farmers awarded their new “Dairy Queen” with her weight in butter. A celebrity at birth, this set the stage for Lisa C's rise to stardom. Writing her first song at five, winning her first songwriting contest at fifteen, and performing at New York City’s Carnegie Hall by sixteen, she had proven that the town’s people had not wasted their butter!
At eighteen Lisa C. left home and moved to San Diego California. She had visited San Diego once as a child and knew that she would one day call herself a resident. Keeping a childhood promise to herself she settled in and quickly took the "Coffee House Circuit" by storm. She joined forces with Thomas Lee to form the band Taylor Street. Taylor Street released the Album “4250 block” in 2002 which sold over 1,000 copies in the first six months.
Lisa C. released her solo album “All that Remains” in 2005 which is currently receiving airplay in OR, AK, and various internet stations.
Lisa C. Pollock is not just a pretty voice. She an extremely gifted songwriter. Lisa C. has won such awards as; the COSA Song of the year 1998 and 2006 and The San Diego Songwriters Guild award 2005.
In 2005 she met Grammy award winning songwriter/producer Charlie Midnight who convinced her to move to Los Angeles and record her next album under Blue Hotel Records. She collaborated with Charlie and other talented writers which included Buck Johnson, Kevin Declue and Joel Soyffer.
Currently you can catch Lisa C. Performing on the Hollywood circuit; The Whiskey A Go-Go, Molly Malones, The Derby, Genghis Cohen, Room 5, The Rainbow and various other venues.
