UK based, Australian singer/ songwriter LISA FITZGIBBON is putting the Power back into contemporary folk music. Currently writing her fifth album, her sound is soft centered but hard core, Power Folk with a tender heart.
Lisa Fitz has shared the stage with musical legends such as Arlo Gutherie, Roger McGuinn (from the Byrds), Chris Difford (from UK band SQUEEZE), Ani Difranco, Martyn Hayes and Denis Cahil. She has collaborated with Rob Hirst from Midnight Oil and Rick Grossman from the Hoodoo Guru's and her UK band, The Power Folk Quintet, features Jane Griffiths on fiddle, Colin Fletcher on bass, Jon Fletcher on guitar/mandolin/harmonica and Damon Sawyer on drums and percussion.
