Depending on the venue, the band has been various configurations of some fine New York and southern/central Connecticut musicians including Peter Delaney (of Wild Notes) on mandolin, Julien Heller on fiddle, Chris Teskey (of Hoe) on guitar, Dick Neal (of Hoe) on banjo, Dan Hocott (of Wild Notes) on bass and, on occasion, the Hoe band has been kind enough to back Lisa Furman.

“Lisa Furman's new release, Lucky Girl is a great melding of Celtic and
Appalachian music with just a hint of bluegrass thrown in. Comprised of
both traditional and original material this disc has some of the most
interesting arrangements I've heard in a long time, many infused with
Lisa's beautiful vocals. Favorites include, ‘Rain and Snow‘, ‘I'll Fly
Away’ and a wonderfully arranged take on the traditional classic,
‘Wayfaring Stranger‘. I'll be playing tracks off this great new release
often!”

“Lisa Furman's music is a delectable smorgasbord of Celtic, Americana and bluegrass fare. She sings like an angel, plays great guitar, and spices up the jigs and reels with spirited pennywhistle.
