Hello... my name is Lisa Goe and this is the part where you get to know a "little bit about me" Ready..set..GOE!
I was born in Los Angeles, Raised in Santa Barbara. My father was a musician when he came out to California and my mom was a student at UCSB. Although my father sacrificed being a studio musician at Capitol in order to support his family in Santa Barbara, his little girl (thats me) had the music bug in her since birth.
okay..back to first person. My father has been a big influence on my music. He listened (and still listens to) A LOT of jazz. I followed in his footsteps in my college years, and moved to Chicago where i was further influenced in jazz, blues, gospel, and r&b. I'm also heavily influenced by artists such as martin sexton, Sade, Jamie cullum, Jason Mraz, Rilo Kiley and really all sorts.. i heart indie music;)
Now that i'm back in Santa Barbara, i'm learning, more and more about myself, about my friends, about my music, and about life. and YOU get to enjoy it with me:)
Thanks for being patient with my other site not being "up to par" but patience is a good virtue, and I see it as yet another beginning for me. Watch me grow.
