A native of Nashville, Lisa Hannah grew up playing music and singing from an early age. She fronted several band projects before pursuing her career as an independent recording artist and songwriter. Her music is influenced by the new wave underground movement of the early 80's, by such bands as U2 and REM, as well as the alternative pop rock era of the 90's, including the likes of Crowded House, Toad the Wet Sprocket, and The Verve. She is currently working on her CD project scheduled for release in 2010.
Lisa also writes for other genres, including country, pop, rock, and progressive folk. Examples of her writing are represented on her publishing page at www.myspace.com/Soundhaven Publishing.
She performs reguarly at venues in Nashville and elsewhere.
