I am 24 years old and grew up in a small town called Shelbyville in Kentucky. All my life music has been my passion. Been my release from reality and my medicine to heal me. As I got older, I started singing gospel music in local churches. From there I learned God blessed me with this talent. After I dedicated myself to the Lord, I decided to be creative and started to write songs. I want my music to minister to the listening ear. I hope it touches them the say way it touched me when they hear it. I also love to sing Country music, with being from Kentucky its in my blood to be a country girl (and I like it that way). Blues is another style of music that I absolutley love!! This year I hope to raise some eyebrows with introducing this style. Its something that alot of people don't realize about me, that I have that soul in me. I have been writing some new songs with this style and I hope to introduce it in the new year. With these different styles and genres of music I have come across a unique sound. My first song is called "Seeking Your Presence", this is my first release to radio. I wrote and recorded it in Nashville, TN. It has made Christian Country charts. Been played nationally and internationally. Has made 23 on Powersource Music Magazine in Nashville, and 36 at GTE Music Magazine.
I am currently trying to work on my first album. Hoping to get a Music Ministry going so that I can accomplish that. It will include my first single release to radio "Seeking Your Presence". Hi Lisa, no I don't have a face book yet...things are going pretty well. The girls are back in school. Makayla if a freshmen this year..so she has quite alot of homework..makenna is in 3rd grade and is playing basketball..so there is alot of running around..We would love to see you again...We are having our cemetery/reunion the second weekend in September...It is service on the cemetery where granny sophie, daddy, uncle Glenn and rest of family are buried..then we have dinner down to uncle robert's church...maybe you all could come some time...love kim
