I love theater though it's been some time since I've been in a production that wasn't storytelling related.

About me:
I have been working as a professional storyteller for seven years. I've had my own business doing contract story telling for for five years. In that time I have had the pleasure of telling for ALL age groups, from infants to adults!
I really love creating and delivering story programs for all ages. Each age requires special elements and has it's own reward.
There is so much to enjoy in story telling, both as part of an audience and as a teller! What I love best is the energy between the audience and me. It's simply the best feeling the world!
Oral story telling is both a great art form and a wonderful learning tool. The quote below says that beautifully. When you learn story telling, you learn to incorporate public speaking, writing and the art of oral tradition all together. I love seeing all of that come together in the students I teach!
When I perform, I love seeing the audience participate with me. Their smiles and laughter are wonderful. That sparkle in the eyes, the excitement I see when they connect with the stories, and me is one of the purest joys in the world.
Favorite Storytelling Quote: "Tell me a fact and I'll learn. Tell me the truth and Ill learn. But tell me a story and it will live in my heart forever." -Indian Proverb
