Native Philadelphian Lisa Johnson moved to Los Angeles in the early 90’s and has been performing for appreciative audiences ever since. Her debut CD “Whenever the Moon Is Full” on local indie label Trough Records, has garnered excellent reviews from assorted national publications and Webzines as well as airplay on college and NPR stations nationwide. Lisa, who was recently named one of the “Hottest Unsigned Acts in Southern California” by Music Connection Magazine, is often compared to Sheryl Crow and Melissa Etheridge for her powerful voice, her remarkable skills as a guitarist and for her passionate and infectious songwriting.
