Born and raised in Winnipeg, MB, my home community is Cross Lake, Manitoba (Pimicikamak Cree Nation), I can say I've done a lot in my life and have come a long way, learned from my mistakes, made healthy decisions to better myself and my family.... I remember someone saying you have to have GUTS - Get Uncomfortable To Succeed...
My interest in modeling sparked at a young age, it was my grandmother who encouraged me to try it out at the age of fifteen. At the same time, my father gave my sister and I the gift of a hand drum and since then, performed throughout the community. I love sharing my story behind the drum along with the knowledge passed on from my elders, sharing the many experiences to people throughout my travels. Honestly, it was the greatest gift ever recieved, cause it's something I can pass on to my children and I'll always carry with me.
For as long as I can remember, Culture has always been in my life. My parents are great teachers, a huge influence and major support, where I am grateful they are in my life. My tremendous talents include not only singing traditional music, public presentations, modeling but Cultural awareness and involvement, being a role model, parenting, independent living, public performances and a dedication to getting the best out of life.
