Do you think he'll play both tomorrow and weds? Not sure whether to keep the whingy twat as captain or not.

I did actually. It's a carhartt one and it's rather warm.

I have a couple of pics, but I haven't got round to taking them off my phone. I will at some point.

A couple are BFI, others are random. Brief encounter is fantastic isn't it? Have you seen Victim? That's really great, also Rear Window...man I love that one.

I must say I didn't enjoy NCFOM as much as you it seems. I watched it twice but I wouldn't watch it again. I think the Coens have lost it any way. Burn after reading must be the biggest pile of crap they've made...actually scrap that..Ladykillers is even worse.

I like Berba, he got me 18 points in last weeks fantasy ;)

Meh. I got rid of the last thing and now I've got flu...sucks.

I spent Christmas with my folks out in the sticks. It was nice, peaceful, thuogh I'm glad to be back in civilisation.

The only things that I got that were cool was a selection of classic british cinema dvd's from my mum. Taste of honey, brief encounter, third man...feckin' excellent :)

I meant elfin in the nicest possible way :p
  • Dec 27 2008 5:01 PM

Oh and I like your new photo btw...very elfin-like ;)
  • Dec 27 2008 4:59 PM

    Another lucky win....

Did you get anything exciting apart from the lack of ronaldo related goodness?

It tuns out that I didn't have the flu, I actually wish I had now though :( Sadly I can't even go to the doctors around here (I'm at my Parents out in the Welsh countryside) because I left my damn medical card back up north. I haven't even signed up for a gp up there yet, so i'll have to do that when I get back.

    Booooooooooo!!
  • Dec 24 2008 6:20 PM

Meh, I forgot to sign up with a new doctor in Lancaster, so i'll have to suffer in silence...I say silence...apart from moaning all the time ;)

I haven't got tickets yet. I'll probably end up getting them on EBay again. I'm not sure which one to go to manc or london.
  • Dec 24 2008 4:24 PM

    Happy christmas to you also!

So far all the festive period has brought me is an illness, so I'm hoping it improves :P

You going to any of the Moz shows? Or should I say...how many ;)
  • Dec 6 2008 2:43 AM

    I thought you'd like it ;)

There comes a point when kitsch goes through ironically cool into unforgivable crap. The cape reached that point.

I've been wearing my scarf and gloves...I don't own a winter coat, which looks like a bit of mistake at this point.
  • Dec 3 2008 4:14 PM

-3ºc today....even putting ronaldo on a bonfire wouldn't help, though its a good suggestion ;)
  • Dec 1 2008 12:53 AM

I'm now officially northern, but i'll still have to work on he accent.

You with your manc leanings could have warned me how damn cold it is up here ;)
  • Nov 22 2008 5:25 PM

I'm not as much of a drinker as i used to be, just on the weekend nowadays.
Apparently there is a polaroid hanging about somewhere of me posing but I've never seen it and actually don't remember it being taken...lol

I know the sum total of nothing about that kind of music, I only know the 2nd and 3rd wave ska bands. Out of those i only really like the specials and bits and pieces of madness and the beat. It's rather the same thing i feel about hip hop, i like one or two like jay z but most of it passes me by.
  • Nov 21 2008 5:08 PM

I haven't had a drink in 3 weeks, which i think may be a record. So'll ill probably be smashed after 2 or 3.

I don't really like reggae or stuff like that except when i'm at a party. last time was when i was up north a few weeks ago and i ended up dancing until 7 am wearing a cleaners outfit and a top hat....ha!
  • Nov 21 2008 3:27 PM

Oh! Well that was good timing then. Doing anything nice? I plan on drinking too much then falling over but for the time being I'll keep pretending to work while listening to ska at ridiculous volumes and ignoring the neighbours banging on the wall....
  • Nov 21 2008 3:14 PM

    What day is it?
  • Nov 21 2008 10:14 AM

    Did I miss your birthday? I'm guessing so...sorry :(

    Well happy belated birthday anyway.
  • Nov 16 2008 8:44 PM

thanks for the addition. and the long division.
  • Nov 13 2008 6:01 PM

I think that Shelleyan Orphan guy wants your nuts too.
  • Nov 13 2008 5:45 PM

    Yes, yes you are...heh

It's for a number of reasons actually. There is a good uni there and because I work from home it doesn't matter where I live. A major point for me though, was because it is cheaper and so I can save some money, so when I come back down to london I'll be able to afford somewhere nicer. I'm not going up there permanently, london is my home and always will be. I also know people there.

    Oh, and man u suck...lol

  • Nov 8 2008 8:33 PM

I'll take your word for it.

It's funny you mention manc-land, i'm actually going to be really close, same county in fact.

The guy fixed it thankfully, how these bastards get away with charging so much is beyond me.

    Texas is as Texas does..lol

It was pretty much a demolition all in all, David Frum was on the bbc coverage predicting doom for the repubs which was hilarious. They could end up being a rump party restricted to the deep south...if only.
  • Nov 8 2008 4:24 PM

It looks like I could end up moving house on my birthday, bad planning huh?

I don't know the Dead Milkmen, though just browsing the wiki page, I like the song titles. I'm not big on actually listening to comedy punk though.

The olny gig I've been to recently is Aimee Mann, I haven't noticed any other good bands touring here.

At the moment I'm waiting for the plumber to come and fix the sink. The damn thing is blocked, now all the kitchen got flooded. meh.

I did stay up and watch it, 6 in the morning...no fun trying to work the rest of the day. It was never in doubt for the last month or so, though I'm surprised he took Virginia, just a shame he couldn'tget a couple of others like MO and AZ just to rub it in.
