As I write this I am sitting in my office/home studio in a very beautiful and calm place out in the woods in the middle of Sweden. People, who only live a 10 minute drive from where I live, say that I have chosen to live at "the end of the world". So far from where most of us want to be. So far from where I think I'd like to be! It's where I usually end up. In the periphery. In the outskirts somewhere. That's where I find I am at the core of every thing that counts. I do love it here and most of my inspiration comes from my immediate surroundings. I write and compose on my own but I am always open for other influences and the "perfect collaboration". My music may be soft and still, some times a bit religious, on the verge of being melancoly, but hopefully I pour some "Lisa humour" into it, stabbing it with an awakening discomfort. It's really all there in between my will to be spiritually awakened, having to cope with the "every-day-matters" of my life, and being oddly, painfully aware, that I am a lucky girl to have my loved ones near.
