My 18 year old, actor, wonderful son, Matthew Vasquez, produced and made/edited this video with a h.s. friend. He is also the young boy in it. I'm so proud of him. On my recent birthday, he wrote me the best card I've ever had, "Dear Mom, All my life you've been young......you will always be young to me." Brings tears to my eyes ...

So much to do on this God Given Earth and T.V. slows that pace down. I'll watch t.v. when I can't run as fast, can't think as fast, can't do as much. Think about it, when we are very very old, our children will push us in front of the t.v. -- there is our time not now. lol... I love every waking moment ... every minute of every day! Use it wisely. With 2 of my 3 sisters and my baby brother! Oh Joy! One of these things, doesn't belong here - can you tell me which one isn't the same~ can you guess which thing doesn't belong here? Now, it's time to play my game...~

My hero is my grandmother who is the only one growing up who believed in me. "Get an education," she always stressed. And so I did. I made her proud to graduate with a 4.0. As a parent, myself, you always want the best for your children and their children. All you can do is pave the way and hope that they in turn appreciate and take advantage of the TREMENDOUS opportunity we are given in the U.S. She is the most selfless person I know and so full of love! To this day I embrace in the power of learning and the benefits it has given me. My hero are the people out there, especially in third world countries who struggle to survive with hope and love ever present. We take for granted all that we have in this great country and I hope to give back to those who have a high regard for life, spirit and blessings. I had the opportunity to go with friends to help children & communities in Brazil and most recently Jordan and Alexandra, Egypt. The 3rd love of my life, Trey: This doctor in Brazil volunteers for surgeries children line up for to get urgent care! They only wish they could live in the U.S. How fortunate are we. My 3.5 year old son, Trey is my hero who has autism and miles and miles of discovery ahead for him.

My boy is actually probably smarter than you (ha!). Everything the textbooks say that he would not do -- he has done! I have taught him how to love, laugh and connect deeply. People often ask me, "are you sure he has autism?" Yes, he does. Just like you have a different personality than anyone else. He changed my life!!!

When every will and thrill has gone, you have to change or just move on. You cannot live without your heart. For what is life, to play a part? When you don't have a joke to tell, and all you do is scream and yell, you need to step aside and see your life the way it ought to be. Are things worth getting stressed about; worth causing you to wail and pout? Weigh every loss against each gain. Don't let each day be full of pain. You have to do what you enjoy, for in repression there's no joy. So seek your dreams where they may go, and when you catch them, you will know. The will and thrill will come again.
